Water Ski with the Dolphins: a break from blogging

Do you think about blog topics you could write about while going about your daily routine?  I thought I would give you a break with this You Tube video of California and water skiing with dolphins--what an experience!

  1. Wow! How exhilaration is that? That's not a break from Blogging - that's Blogging! Thanks for posting.
I had John Prine's 'Speed of the Sound of Loneliness' playing in the background; you couldn't get the smile off my face with a crowbar....

  2. The idea that mammals/animals like to play is wonderful. Wonder what the Dolphins would have done if she had fallen off the board?

    1. Hi Sherry--it does. Wish I could do that but sadly, my waterskiing days are past.

  4. Hi Nat - what an amazing experience that woman had .. quite brilliant to see .. and then of course in today's age we get it recorded and it can traverse the world ...

Fantastic journey for her that day ... well you don't really want to hear from me about posting do you ... I just seem to be able to create posts in my head about all things - getting them down takes me time ... but I have lots to do ...I guess I'm lucky and have just settled into a way of life ...

I went to the Making Colour exhibition at the National Gallery recently .. two posts are up .. and a few more to follow ... but the NG used Degas' "La Coiffure" to 'explain'/show reds ... so I thought of you!

You'd think one idea would be enough .. but I remembered about the Himba people seeing colour differently and synethesia and colour ... and so it goes on! The exhibition opens other doors too .. which I need to put on paper ..

So I seem to spend my life thinking I could write about 'that' and 'that' ..and 'that' on its way .. cheers and enjoy the blogging break ..Hilary

    1. Synthesia is so interesting. I first heard about it when I read Vladimir Nabokov's memoir, "Speak Memory."
