Nora Ephron died Tuesday, June 26th. This link has some of her best lines. My favorite book is Heartburn, funny, yet sad about her husband's affair. It was fictionalized, but the main characters were obvious. Her ex- husband was Carl Bernstein, of Watergate fame.

DeleteI've only seen a handful of the movies she wrote screenplays for and haven't read anything by her, but I know of her name and her influence.

Me too, Lee. The Tom Hanks character who was mourning his wife was so heart-rending. The screen play was perfect.
