LOST

Where are you my friend?
In the confused labyrinth
of your mind,
I cannot find you.

Are my visits pointless?
One more try. . .
"I love you."

The answer--
three squeezes
from your hand.

Write a story in 33 words.
Do not use 'lost' in the story.

  12. Thank you, MOV. Yes, Stockholm. Thought I would write a piece on memory genes or do we have them for places we have seen for the first time but feels as if we have been there before.

  14. I felt so sad for the persona in this poem. And yet, at the end, hopeful. At the beginning, I thought it was someone lost to dementia or Alzheimer's. At the end, I thought there was a chance for getting better.

  15. So poignant. For anyone who has experienced a loved one losing their place in the world, this is exactly what it is like.
